You are now at the new homepage for Texttelefoni. Texttelefoni is the relay service for phone calls between textphones and standard voice phones. It is a service that increases the possibility for those who are deaf (prelingually or postlingually), deafblind, hearing impaired or speech impaired to communicate with those parts of society which cannot be reached by a textphone.
Texttelefoni is free of charge. The rates are the same as for an automatically connected call. Texttelefoni’s mission is to word by word and objectively relay calls from text to speech and from speech to text. The relay service is always open, round the clock, every day of the year.
The service is carried out by Eniro 118 118 AB, commissioned by the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS).

If you wish to contact the relay service from your textphone you dial 90 160.
If you would like to call a textphone from a regular phone the number to dial is 90 165. If you are calling from a cell phone you need to add an area code, for example 08 90 165.
The relay service is now also available on the Internet, which means you do not need a textphone to call the service. More information can be found under “Calling through the Internet Portal”.
